Celebrating Sixty Years of the British Aikido Association



To start a year of celebration, events and courses – a free course for 12 year olds and above with separate sessions for youth and adults.

There will be demonstrations of all the Koryū no kata by senior Dan Grades and demonstration of open Kata from members of the Team GB.



Seminars on a wide variety of subjects presented by the senior grades in the BAA including:

Phil Bird



Garrett Baxter



Mick Pratt



Keith McClean




A number of other awards will be made on the day.



The National Dan Grading (1st Dan to 6th Dan) will take place throughout the day. To take part in the Dan grading, please register by 10th August with Mark Aldridge, Technical Development Officer BAA.
